  • Game drives across the Serengeti plains
  • The Great Migration in season
  • Lion, leopard, elephant and buffalo
  • Full day on the Ngorongoro Crater floor
  • UNESCO World Heritage landscapes
  • Sunsets over the endless plains

Itinéraire Jour par Jour

Arusha 335 km 7–8 hours with stops Central Serengeti
01

Arusha to the Serengeti

Lunch Dinner

We collect you from your hotel after breakfast and head west through the Ngorongoro highlands, dropping onto the Serengeti plains in the early afternoon. The first game drive starts the moment we pass the gate — you are in the park, so everything from here is safari.

Activités

Ngorongoro highlands viewpoint Olduvai Gorge turn-off Afternoon game drive

Long driving day. The road is rough in places — this is normal and the guide will stop whenever you want photographs.

02

Full day in the Serengeti

Breakfast Lunch Dinner

A full day in the park with a packed lunch, so nothing cuts the day short. Mornings are for predators — lion prides on the kopjes, cheetah on the open plain, leopard in the sausage trees along the river. In migration season we follow the herds wherever they have moved to.

Activités

Sunrise game drive Big cats on the kopjes Bush lunch in the park Golden-hour drive

Optional hot-air balloon safari at sunrise — book at least a day ahead, paid separately.

Central Serengeti 145 km 4–5 hours with game viewing Ngorongoro crater rim
03

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater rim

Breakfast Lunch Dinner

A last morning drive through the Serengeti before turning east. We climb to the crater rim in the afternoon, arriving in time for the view down onto the floor — 600 metres below, with the whole caldera laid out in front of you.

Activités

Morning game drive Crater rim viewpoint Sunset over the caldera

The rim sits at 2,200 m and gets genuinely cold after dark. Bring a warm layer.

Ngorongoro 190 km 4 hours after the crater Arusha
04

Crater floor, then back to Arusha

Breakfast Lunch

We descend at gate opening, when the floor is quiet and the predators are still active. Six hours inside the caldera covers Lake Magadi, the Lerai forest and the short-grass plains where the black rhino graze. After lunch we climb out and drive back to Arusha, arriving early evening.

Activités

Descend at gate opening Black rhino search Flamingos on Lake Magadi Lerai forest elephants

Vehicles must leave the crater floor within six hours, so we start early to use all of it.

Questions sur ce safari

How many people will be in the vehicle?

This safari runs as a private trip — your vehicle carries only your party, up to six people, each with a window seat. We do not sell individual seats on shared departures.

What kind of vehicle do you use?

A 4WD Toyota Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof for standing game viewing, charging points, a cool box and a fridge. Every vehicle carries a radio so guides share sightings across the park.

Is the Great Migration guaranteed?

The herds move continuously and no operator can promise a specific event on a specific date. What we can do is track where they are in the week before you arrive and plan the route around it. Between June and October the odds of a river crossing are highest.

What happens if I get sick on safari?

Every trip includes Flying Doctors cover for emergency evacuation to Nairobi or Arusha. Your guide carries a first aid kit and there is a clinic at every park gate.
